In Geography, we have been learning about the layers of the Earth's crust and how it fits together.  Through our learning, we have discovered that the Earth is made up of tectonic plates.  Even though we can't feel the Earth moving beneath our feet, we have realised it does move, but ever so slowly.  These tectonic plates can slide past eachother, sink beneath or even pull apart causing earthquakes.  We studied the disaster in Syria and Turkey and the impact it has had on the world.
